"The Bluebird Blend" - Oil Painting of Bluebird on Teacup

"The Bluebird Blend"

This brand new oil painting has a little "bluebird" sitting on a blue and white teacup.  It will make a nice companion piece to go with several other of my little "birds on teacup" paintings.  I have a special offer going on now to purchase this little 7 x 5" painting in a "Giclee - print on canvas board."

I am taking orders now through August 10th with a special price of only $75.00 each (for a limited time only)  which will also include FREE SHIPPING in the US.    (email me to order)

It would make a wonderful gift for someone too.

Cardinal painting - now available in giclee prints

My cardinal oil painting is now available in giclee prints on paper

Cardinals have always been a popular request for my "bird" paintings.  I decided to have this one made into giclee prints on paper.  It measures 12 x 5" with a white border.   $90.00

Please contact me if you would like to purchase.

From the Cornell Lab of Ornithology....

The male Northern Cardinal is perhaps responsible for getting more people to open up a field guide than any other bird. They’re a perfect combination of familiarity, conspicuousness, and style: a shade of red you can’t take your eyes off. Even the brown females sport a sharp crest and warm red accents. Cardinals don’t migrate and they don’t molt into a dull plumage, so they’re still breathtaking in winter’s snowy backyards. In summer, their sweet whistles are one of the first sounds of the morning.

Baseball Art - The Finest In the Field - oil painting

"The Finest In The Field"

This "oil painting" started out as just a study for a much larger piece.  I decided to finish it up with the same detail I will devote on the larger in-progress "baseball" painting.  It only measures 6x6" and is painted on a smooth Ampersand wood panel.

I do a lot of preliminary work before I can start to actually paint on the canvas.  I decided to make some of my smaller detailed studies into mini oil paintings.  This is just the center of a "Rawlings baseball glove."  I plan on framing it soon and then it will be for sale through my website or at my next art show.
