What's Happening at the "Celebration of Fine Art"

There is only 8 days left now at the "Celebration of Fine Art" in Scottsdale, Arizona.  It has been a wonderful year full of exciting events and activities.  There is still time to visit if you are in the area.  It is a unique experience to meet the various artists from all over the country and to see them creating their works of art.  Here are some pictures of just a few of the artists:

Kevin Powers making beautiful glass art

More glass work by Keving Powers who comes each year from Osterville, MA

Dave Jackson is a painter from Mountain Green, Utah

My niece Addie, stopping by to help me finish a painting

Melissa Behr does original photography & painting and is from Ogden, Utah
Bradford Brenner is from Sebastopol, CA

Jennifer Bellinger is from Ketchum, ID and she paints the most wonderful oil paintings.

This woman came just to practice up on her drawing skills.  Working from a sculputre by Ken Newman.
The paintings in the background are by Whitney Peckman

Penny Benjamin Peterson paints wonderful contemporary abstracts

Here I am meeting with a new client Jim Lowman that has commissioned me
to paint a couple of his classic guitars.

Thanks Barbara for the inclusion of Ken in your quick recap of the Celebration of Fine Art. Best of luck with your Birds in Art entry this year. Love the birds! Fly high!
